A week in the diabetic foot

During National Diabetes Week 2016 (10-16th July), what were the statistics on diabetic foot disease?

We released a new infographic at the conclusion of National Diabetes Week that provides an alarming look into just one week in the Australian diabetic foot. Over 400 people were diagnosed, 84 people had an amputation and 28 lost their lives. 7,000 hospital beds were used due to diabetic foot disease and $7million was spent on diabetic foot hospitalisations.
